My favorite place on the whole of the internet is the Midimalist group chat. Truly, a group of the most badass ladies just sharing our outfits; ain’t nothing too fancy about it. EXCEPT that it feels like a paradise where there is age diversity, lifestyle diversity, body diversity, geographical diversity (etc.) but we meet under the common banner of loving clothes. If I were a political candidate this would be my platform.

I had an idea to showcase some of my friends in a more permanent manner and so I bring to you the first in a series, What YOU are Wearing.

I almost can’t put into words that sound genuine¹ how excited I am about the idea of showcasing my internet friends and a week of their outfits. And Athalie, who was SO game to be my guinea pig, did not disappoint. By the end of this post you, like me, will want to go grab sangrias with her.

However, to protect the privacy of my friends, I will also be paywalling this post and I’m asking that if you love one of these outfits and want to save it for future inspiration, let’s keep it off any public platforms (Pinterest, etc.). Again, the joy of my chat is that we are all just regular gals shooting mirror pics, no one here signed up to be an influencer!
