Cleaning up your wishlists on TRR etc is a great idea; I just did that yesterday and it felt amazing. I bought a pair of white jeans that had been on my wishlist for a while during the BF sales, and am planning not to buy anything for the rest of the year, to reflect on my shopping habits this year and my plan for 2024. It feels good to commit to a no-buy/spend again; it kind of feels like a relief after you get past the initial fear of missing out.
I'm just seeing this one now! Such a great read. Thanks for the shoutout! I'm planning on challenging myself with a no-spend January to start the year. There's nothing I feel I really need, and I'm gonna try to limit my scrolling on Instagram (my ultimate trigger).
January is a great time as we have all been hit over the head with sales for the past two months! I think IG is a major trigger for us all so it’s smart to limit in order to be successful 🙌
good for you! i have tried and failed so many times this year. i enjoy the scrolling too much and don't want to give it up, but within days i always end up buying on TRR. i will rationalize it to death, mostly by saying that the shipping and return fees are "worth it" in order for me to see see and try on so many pieces i wouldn't otherwise have access to within 60 miles of my home...
Ok, I relate to this WAY TOO MUCH "I am easily excited and enthusiastic but I’ve always wished I could play it cooler."

I admire you and I'm hoping to get similar clarity that you did!

TRR is the downfall of my self control because of the feeling that everything on there feels like one of a kind!!
Love Larissa’s style! And I feel like I could use a no spend break too!
BF was a doozy this year so I need a little reset
