Another dump of screenshots and random fashion thoughts lately.
Starting strong with this perfect outfit spied on the Another Nue’s instagram page. I adore the styling here. I tracked down the jacket ($424) she is wearing and I think Skall needs to co-opt this image because their stock photo is less inspiring than this.
Another very good outfit featuring Hero Pants! I love the way the leopard is acting like a neutral and the blue pops.
I’ve found a fantastic off-duty summer uniform that I had to share with you all after I’ve been test driving it recently. The formula goes;
a hat + fun lil tank top (the strappier the better) + draw-string pant (something about the drawstring part is important) + sandal
You can accessorize with a jacket, button down, over-the-shoulder knit or a great purse.

This image via a La Ligne email; featuring their Colby pant in white ($295) (which have long been on my Carted Wishlist). (Editor’s note:
alerted me to Sample Sale 260 because the Colby pants were on there for $100! I purchased the red and can vouch that they fit beautifully but run super long on my 5’3” frame.1I’m wearing them as you read this).From the photo, I, also, love the pairing of the yellow shirt (turns out it’s La Ligne’s Molly tee ($95)) and that bright yellow bag. And, also, when I tracked down the yellow shirt, I really loved the styling on the website of the butter yellow + red.
I received the AYR April catalog and LOVED both of these looks. The easy, relaxed styling and the use of stripes is *chefs kiss.* In case you missed it, I wrote about button down shirts last week!

Oh and then I got the May catalog last night and this styling (more stripes (maybe the same shirt ($135)?)! another button down but styled so well!) really caught my eye. I’m very into the slouchy vibe.
I’ve shared before about how I use my Carted digital wishlist to keep track of things I’m considering buying. I keep an entire Board where I track the items that I’ve changed my mind on. If I’ve sold you on a wishlist, can I also sell you on a “NO” List?
Having a “NO” List has helped me spot patterns in my shopping; like seeing an item and feeling that visceral urge to get it and then watching it move to my no-list within 3-7 days. OK, good intel, now I know I need a few days to really make a good judgement on something.
Changing your mind on an item because you’ve realized it doesn’t actually work with your lifestyle, or it’s not worth the cost, or you don’t love it as much as you thought; this is all valuable learning!
So here’s my Carted graveyard.

Here are some items I’ve added to my wishlist recently;

At the end of April, my family went on a trip to Punta de Mita, Mexico and I had the best time transforming myself into Vacation Kelly™. Shortly before I left
wrote;There are two kinds of people: those who pack outfits, and those who pack personalities.
Just like Asta, I pack a personality. Vacation Kelly™ loves to expose skin (the shorter the skirt, the better!) because she wants to get a tan and then show it off. Vacation Kelly™ eats junky and doesn’t care but she always protects her face from too much sun. It was a quick trip so I didn't have to worry too much about optimizing my packing. I just wanted to look and feel cute- AND I DID!

Finally, I saw this photo of Olympia Gayot and the colors in it (plus her smile) gave me joy. Olympia is wearing these J.Crew nylon shorts that I think I might love them? Does anyone have boots on the ground with them? The description says that there’s a removable lining which sounds weird(?) but I can’t stop thinking of them.
Tell me;
what has been catching your eye lately?
I’d love to hear in the comments OR I’ve started a thread in the chat for us to share the images that are inspiring us or the items we are shopping for!
you have the best screenshots on substack, I swear to god! my red pants are finally herrrrre. can't wait to dig into them this week. also: red bras and undies have been my "invisible" trick for years since a French lingerie lady told me all about it! it's also like the time someone told me that lacy, unlined underwire bras can also work great under T shirts *if they fit you correctly.* revelatory.
Vacation Kelly is a vibe that I am here all day for, but Red Pants Kelly is also very much my jam. You’re killing it! I think THE Necklace Kelly has infiltrated your whole personality and we can see its phantom vibes even when you aren’t wearing it, if that makes sense….
